Workout Recap 10/14 - 10/20

Monday - 7.5 miles.  Treadmill.  It was raining outside, and I had the day off, so I took my time and really got down to business.  I needed to do some 800s.  Fun, fun... anyway, here's what it was like.  (I don't know the actual splits, but I remember what speed the treadmill was on, so I'm using that as my guide)
1 mile - warmup - (7.0 aka 8:49 roughly)
6 x 800 with 400 recovery in between.  (Speed 8.0, 6.8, 8.1, 6.8, 8.2, 6.8, 8.3, 6.8, 8.4, 6.8, 8.5, 6.8)
2 miles - cool down (7.0-7.3 pace, had to keep changing it so I didn't croak with boredom)

I don't like treadmill running, but I didn't hate this workout.  My goal is to keep doing it at least once a week, and look to improve each of my 800 times.  SPEED!!!!



Tuesday - Cross training.  Arc trainer and elliptical.  Hill climb presets on both.  Joined in the last 10 minutes of abs class when I was done.




Wednesday - 7.5 miles (8:26 avg pace)  Steady state run, nothing too fancy.  Pretty chilly out...
Noon - Lifted legs.  3 sets 12 reps, the basics. 







Thursday - 6 miles (8:26 avg pace...again) Apparently this is my go-to average pace.  Pretty cold out...
PM - CXWORX (30 minutes) and Extreme Abs class (20 minutes) AKA GUT BUSTER workout! 

Friday - Body Pump 87 (60 minutes) and CXWORX 12 (30 minutes)!  It was launch week, so the classes featured brand new tracks!

Saturday - 5 miles (8:12 avg)  The WTF happened here award goes to this run this week... Mile 1: 7:24. Mile 5: 9:13.  YIKES


Sunday - Governor's Run 15K - 9.3 miles. 1:10:52 (7:33 avg)  This was AWESOME!  Full recap soon!
